    My favorite sushi!!! It always looks so pretty when it comes out, tastes delicious and the service is so good - we always feel like royalty! I have not tried the tepanyaki tables so my comments only apply to the sushi tables area. However, even the non - sushi items served there are yummy.

    Everything tasted great! Sushi was all fresh and we ordered shrimp tempura which was super crunchy and I loved the fried vegetables that it came with it.

    I give the food a four and the service a three- they are trying but there a some language challenges. The hibachi chef was fair at best- food was ok and helped us with a forgotten starter.

    We ate in the restaurant part of Sumo. Service was quick and attentive. Food came out quickly and was delicious! No complaints at all. Portions were substantial, we had 4 different bento box dinners and have enough leftover for take home. Also ordered sushi apps, those were top notch and came to the table quickly. Also they gave us complimentary vegetable appetizer so good! Out family enjoyed eating here and will be back.

    Price was expensive for what you get. You're paying for the location not the food. Classy place and food was good. Service could definitely be improved as considering the price how about clearing plates when they are empty? Granted the plates weren't that full to start with so maybe server didn't notice the change. Food was tasty but raw fish is raw fish. Preparing changes place to place and so does freshness but nothing was special. I'd find another place to go next time. Sashimi is very expensive. We tried 4 different rolls and multiple salads and sashimi.

    Great food and great service. The sashimi was amazing and decorative. They gave us happy hour because we assumed it was still going on. Very clean and nice family owners. A free appetizer as well. Last visit was an amazing hibachi experience to be had by all especially if celebrating.... Say YES to the saki :)

    Loved it and loved the chef : he was preparing the sushi i nfront of us he made us try some reallly nice sashimi salad and all the sushi was prepared very accurately I will go again next time I am in jacksonville!

    From the moment we walked in my wife and i were welcomed in. We chose to sit at a table and try a few rolls from the menu. The menu was a standard sushi menu seen at most Japanese restaurants(no excitement there) but what wowed us was the on point friendly service. When it came time to order our waitress asked if we had any questions and took our order. The first thing we noticed when our food arrived was the presentation. A nice carrot duck was placed in the center of our plate with the rest of our sushi surrounding it. Each roll we dived into brought us different depths of fresh flavors. The only down side was that they should have gone a little lighter on the drizzle on our fried salmon and cream cheese roll. Besides that Speed of service was above average, which for a friday night i tip my hat to them and my wife and I will be back.

    Disgusting!!!! My lunch was delicious until I poored my last cup of Sake only to find a cockroach in it!!!! They were nice enough to not charge me for the sake and take $3.50 off the bill. I purposely the my left overs on the table only to have the waitress follow me outside where she finally offered to refund my money. I will not be going back.

    It was my husbands and I first time in, We had such great service and AMAZING food the people there were so nice and very helpful with questions we had. We will be returning and telling people how amazing this place is ! My favorite place !

    I have avoided this place for a while because a Sushi restaurant on CR210 just did not sound right to me. After hearing a couple of people talking about what a great experience they had there, I decided to check it out. I am glad I did! The staff and service was great, and the food was excellent. The rolls, and sushi mi, ginger salad, and miso soup I had were top notch.

    Girlfriend brought me here today for my first time. Have to say this is by far some of the best sushi from here to st.Augustine. Service was great, food amazing and loved the atmosphere. P.s. get the snowy mountain sushi roll in the menu, not on the sushi check list

    Horrible service! The waitress didn't know the menu and couldn't understand us when we asked questions. We asked for them to make us some teriyaki on the grill and they said they couldn't. Then, later, when the hibachi chef made our order, he made the chicken hibachi teriyaki without asking us but wouldn't make my shrimp with teriyaki flavor. My sister got scallops and they were burnt and over cooked!! The spring rolls were also super-greasy and the calamari were too crispy and had no flavor. The kids meal fried chicken had no flavor!! The check came out wrong and they charged us full price for a kids meal. We addressed the problem and it took them 20 minutes to resolve it. All in all, it was lackluster, disgusting and the grill gave off way too much smoke!! I was soooo unimpressed with this Asian restaurant!

    The food is always pretty good however the restrooms needs a complete makeover. There are holes in the wall and pieces missing where old dryers used to be and or paper towels. It had used mayo buckets under the sink and needed a good cleaning. Some air freshner and a decorative plant goes a long way. The bathroom is always a good indication of the kitchen.
